Constant burning smell....

For the last while (about 8k miles to be exact) the wifes MSP has been giving off this burning smell once warmed up and driving in any condition (i.e 'enthusiastically' or hwy/city driving) most noticably through the air vents and front end of course. The car currently has 60k miles on it and has been driven smoothly with no racing/redline shifts, etc. for the last 30k miles.
The clutch doesn't slip and has plenty of travel left, and the smell is more along the lines of oil...

First thing that I would check is the oil return line at the bottom of the turbo. there is an o-ring that needs to be replaced after a while and it leaks until you do. That can cause the smell. Replace the gasket on the block at the other end of the line as well. Both parts can be had for under $10 from the dealer. I have a thread on here listing the part numbers and there are others as well.
