Conformation from Mazda

I just recieved conformation from Mazda that all Mp3 owners will be able to upgrade all parts for the Mazdaspeed!! Covered by warrenty!!! The whole point of turbo install now is it will be easier to add real horsepower after my warrenty expires, but still get a little extra zip till that happens. From what I hear, everything is bolt on and should only take two hours, so even a hundred dollars and hour isn't that bad. I am a truckdriver, and don't have time to work on my MP3, but I did upgrade my stereo.

I think for them to honestly do the work in two hours...they would have to have a TEAM working on your car....but...if you can get a dealer to install it....and in two hours...and only charge you two hours labor....GO FOR IT....I would still be interested in hearing what they want for the kit.....if its a dime less than $4000 I will be very surprised. :{D and that is a lot of bones for 40 HP

if his statement is TRUE, 40hp would cost alot of mulah, but its 40hp, warrantied. though i doubt you would mess up the engine quickly without somehow using a boost controller or you do some sort of "mod" to the actual turbo, maybe bigger turbo, intercooler? dont know how an intercooler would affect the engine as im not a "car buff" so yeah. dont chew me on my statements.

Just curious...when you say confirmation from Mazda...did you speak to your local dealer....or actually someone at Mazda America? I'm always a little wary about anything my dealer tells me. :)

good Idea....everyone that is REMOTELY interested in this can write the guy and his SUPERVISORS and yell bulls***!!!

see sir nuke KNOWS!!!!!!!!......but honestly if i were goin to pay for the "mazdaspeed" name on my turbo i would hope it gave me more than 170hp...i would rather go turbo and get aover 200 hp...for basically the same price...
