ok I don't get it??? much confusion here

are you sending the following to the grieving patents?

"i know i may be being insensitive, but i dont feel the slightest bit bad for that ******* moron that raced his mazda and died. everyone is making such a shitstorm about it, like it is such a damn tragedy. what it is, is a ******* moron who knew the consequences of his actions, and it happened. hopefully this is a lesson for you morons (if the shoe fits, wear it) out there that drive like that on the streets.

i mean, if you hear on the news that someone jumped off a building to their death, you know they had it coming, like he knew it could possibly happen to him, and you dont feel bad for THAT person do you?

is it because he drove his mazda like a ******* moron instead of a nissan that you people feel so goddamned bad, or just because he drove his import in general like a ******* dickhead?

this should be a lesson instead of a sob.
"

Because if you are I want no part of it. Please explain....

Negative, that's a post from our own Matthew in regards to this situation. I just thought many would like to read it and should opinions form, so be it.

i think his a moron for writing something like that. i mean the guy was only 16 and had a fast car. we feel bad for the wrong choice he made, and i think matthew would have made the same choice if he was 16 and was in the same situation(being with a friend and wanting to brag about the race next day ).

I feel bad the kid died, but he was street racing, which i don't condone at all, take it to a track if you want to prove your car is fast. Matthew brought up a good point, and you know what, if the kid was racing and when he got in the accident, he happened to injure or kill anyone else then you guys would be singing a whole different tune.

I'm saddened by this, but really tired of seeing this happen, it puts a blow to myself and gives us enthusiasts a bad name too.

This is the reason why, I plan to go to every import car festival and recruit Street Racers into our SCCA program. This should never have happened, stock mazdaspeed or any car---the more you modify the more responsiblity of power you gain to control. I hope everybody learns to "keep it on the track". It's better to get trophys and respect instead of tickets and tradegies.

No, I certainly would not. It'd still be a tragedy, and a greater one at that. Matthew didn't have a point, he missed the point. The kid is DEAD, why argue about the s*** he did? The point is his family has a dead son, who was only 16 yrs. old and an injured friend. Now let's get back on topic.

Kids will be kids unless we who are older educate them but we can't do this if we get side tracked by things which over shadow the real issue

I second that, he missed so many points that I stopped counting. I's just too easy to say what he said. I also agree with anarchistchicken (2 pages back), he summed it up pretty well

Thanks for the clarity.<O:p</O:p

I am certain most of us have done something we regret doing. We are fortunate to be alive to have that regret. If our young MSP driver had survived the accident I am sure he would regret his foolish actions. To sit back now and condemn him is wrong. He cannot say he's sorry, or feel remorse for his injured passenger, grieving parents, confused friends or loved ones. To attach him or his family (ala Matthew's message) does nothing but add insult to injury.<O:p</O:p<O:p

This is a time to remember a lesson and pass the word. Street racing is a very dangerous thing. Those that participate risk their lives and those of others. Lets take the time to tell at least one newly licensed driver of this tragic event. With any luck a life will be saved.<O:p</O:p<O:p

Please add me to the list<O:p
