Yeah, i *still* get compliments on my basically stock ride!
Yesterday I was cruzin' and a kid (~14) says out of the blue: 'Nice car, man!'...

Yup. I still love this car! (Just wanted to share dat!)

BTW: I have started to like the new 3 wagon/dark grey - it affects the 'what would i buy if i got totalled tomorrow?' HHHmmmh. The answer used to be easy.

Does the '3 come with the removable roof rack feature that i love?(dunno)

I get compliments on my ride as well. Typically about 1 per week, usually after I wash it.
I've got a 02 yellow, sunroof, sportmatic and chrome factory wheels. The wheels are sweet.

I'm thinking about tint very soon. I want to get tint on all 5 windows and little strip on the front windshield. But, I live in CA. Where it's illegal to have the driver and passanger window tinted.

I have had everything from young sweeties to older guys who look like they work construction tell me they think the car is really nice....I have had people stop while driving by on the street stop and ask what kind of car it is.....a few weeks ago I was visiting a buddy in Nh, I stopped at a store 24, and when I came out a really attractive blonde came over and asked me about the car....Im thinking, this car rules!!!!(hump)

I cant believe people screw with the stock look and change it all around.....just look at that crapy body kit that was posted a couple days ago to see what I mean(I forget whch kind it was, but it fit like s*** and looked even worse....the headlights are some of the nicest I have seen on any car, and yet people paint them.....I think the car would look best with a drop, maybe some wider rims, tint, and then spend the rest on getting more zip from the engine....Matthews car is one of my favorites because it still looks mostly stock except when you look under the front grille and at the wheels, exhaust, etc.....
some tricked out ones look good too though, the red turbo p5 on here looks really sweet....I guess its all personal preference, but its the look of the car, certainly not the performance that attracts most of us to the p5, so it seems kinda silly to screw with that....
now if only it came with all wheel drive and 230hp......kinda like a mazda version of the R32.....that would be sick....
 
When I had the laser blue, a very redneck gas station attendant said "cute car" without being facetious. The P5, at least with a little tint, looks like a much more expensive car than people know.
 
Yeah I get a lot of compliments too, makes me feel great! I really love the way this car looks/drives/does_everything...

although I did get egged really badly a couple days ago.. it was probably some dick with a cavilier or a civic.
 
my car could be covered in dog s*** and it would still get more compliments than any civic...(humpleg)

this car is nearly perfect, only downfall is thin paint. I get compliments, from punk jerk off kids, to hot girls, to elderly people. As you can see i got the 03 Vivid Yellow with black rims. Everytime i go into the gas station i get complimented and asked how much i paid for it. Its a really sweet looking car and you can go wrong.
 
Recently i came out of the mall near where i live, and there were 3 kids around my car, so i was like. Sup guys this your car, they were like yea. I said "nice i got one just like that" same color and everything. Then i was like yo talk to you later
guys. I walked away and called 911 and said there were 3 kids breaking into my car, but i dont want them to run off i want them to pay. So 3 undervocer cops. 1 in an impala and one in a crown victoria and another one in a fukin camry pulled up. the kids got arrested. While they were handcuffed, i was like "oh s*** look theres my car" and "thanks for hellping me look for it"

And just how stupid do you have to be to steal a vivid yellow wagon w/custom wheels? Not exactly discreet...
 
I thought it was pretty funny, not that they were trying to steal my car, the fact that they didnt know what they were doing and what i was doing, they were trying to pick my lock, they didnt eve have the right tools (dunno) . Stupid (bang)Stupid(no) Thiefs (piss)

Slick move, not in the sarcastic sense, but in the literal. I agree, that is pretty damned funny stuff.

And if I were a car thief, I would jack something that was not so damned easy to spot by the 5-0, that's all. Cool story, dumb thieves! :D

I just got my P5 last thursday and I have already gotten 4 or 5 compliments on it. I love my car. It doesn't look like every other car on the road. Plus it's yellow and it stands out. I love that!
