Very nice!

I was thinking about doing something similar and getting a real carbon fiber trim kit for the dash and surronding silver plastic pieces. Not a huge fan of the silver trim.

man, that it super sweet...it looks professionally done, and it totally belongs on the car....did you do it yourself:cool:

I think the red light is his alarm system....mine's on the dash, but i like by the shifter much better.

Thanks guys. Now, remember this is an automatic, and that red button is for the overdrive. This P5 originally belonged to my mother, it was too bouncy for her, so I kept it, hehehe :D.

I cut the shifter lever because it was too tall, the MOMO auto shifter was about $110.00. Originally I used a MOMO leather boot, but it looked like s***, so I purchased a Mazda shifter boot, trimmed the ring around the boot to fit the shifter and there is the final product. Not too hard, and looks great. With the 3 pedals (dead pedal) you have to take a second look to notice its an auto.

Looks great. How hard was it to get that brake lever handle on? In reading about it they always seem to want you to buy a special part for each model car. Did you fabricate or just go without it? Also, is that just the standard boot that you can get from the dealer for a M/T P5?

Thanks.

looks good, i thought you modified the auto nob to fit on the manutal trans just for looks. :)

So its pretty convincing.

That looks awsome! Very Nice! (thumb)

BTW...Where did you get the APC Carbon Fiber Hood? Is it promotional or is it available to the public? How Much?

The e-brake: you have to buy the adapter for our handle. Its just a little rubber filler that fills the gap in between the MOMO handle and the chromed push button. You have to cut the original handle cover in order to remove, or just pull the hell out of it. Then slide the MOMO handle with the MOMO leather boot (recommended) and tighten the three little allen bolts. Thats it.

the boot: I used the MOMO leather boot and I had to cut it so much it look like crap, so I purchased the factory Protege shifter boot and just had to modify the top ring to accept the MOMO shift knob.

the hood: Its an APC, and readily availble. Part#101026. I paid $582 delivered. I got this on because it looks different than the rest.

Thanks for you comments!

Sweet! Where did you order the hood from? If you don't mind me asking :D
I really would like to get a carbon fiber hood, I think it would go well with my gunmetal rims.

BTW...How is the quality?

It was ordered by a local shop here in Dallas, HDA Autosports. But you can get it from anyone who can get APC products. Everyone has knock down the quality of APC products, but I was extremely impressed with the hood. It fitted perfect, it looks good and for the price, compared to DG's $800+shipping, which is probably the best quality, the APC is the better buy. I think there are a couple of pics of under the hood in my webpage. And they are made in the US, in-house. They are not imported as many people think.
