Cold Weather Question

Hey guys, so I just installed my Cobb Turbo-Back last night. All I can say so far is that it is worth every damn penny and absolutely PERFECT.
Anyways on to my concern, I was doing some light pulls tonight with the car and I hit boost cut around 4.3K rpm,
I wasin't surprised by the boost cut as the outside temp was -2 degrees.
But as I was cruising back to my house going about 35mph, I put the clutch in and revved it with the clutch in a few times, (to hear her purr)
all of the sudden the car went all the way to redline as if I had floored it and let off right as it got to redline.
I only gave it enough throttle to make it to 3.5-4K rpm though....My only guess as to why it would do this is because it is trying to learn the new exhaust flow all the way to redline.
Only other mods I have are a SRI. I currently have a plug in the 2nd (lower) O2 sensor bung because I screwed the thread and need to get a new one.
Anyways, anybody have any ideas as to why the car would rev itself all the way to redline? -Thanks

this is just a shot out of left field, but maybe the throttle position sensor is somehow out of whack??
