Cold Start Idle?

I have a small question regarding the MS3 and cold starts.

Everytime I've went to my dealer, my salesperson would go get the car and pull it up front, and have me wait inside while the car warmed up.

Today, when my car came in, I went and started it on my own and at cold temp it stayed around 2000 rpms, and when it started it's decent downward, it pulsated every couple seconds around 1500 rpms, until the car settled under 1000 rpms. Is this normal? Engine only had 9 miles on it, i'm sure that might change possibly. Of course, I don't want to worry about it as a problem or be TOO nit-picky but thought i'd ask!

And thanks for the congrats, but it's not a done deal yet unfortunately.

I have to wait until around the 2nd week of April. My lease is getting swapped with someone. I'd go sign the paperwork now but i'd rather feel more comfortable if the other guy signed my lease over first, then I go get mine.

Not to mention...we got 8" of snow. I would have been screwed.
