cold air intakes....

ive been wanting to put a cold air intake on my p5 for a while now, and ive been looking around online at the different ones. but i cant make up my mind on which one will give me the most hp. any ideas which one i should go with? and where to get it?

What about the Simota CAI?
arent those good too with the Venturi effect like the AEM V2 intakes for hondas?
isnt that better than the weapon R?

I have the AEM Short Ram Intake and I love it. It does not take the air from the wheel well so it is not a true cold air intake but it takes it from the very bottom of the engine compartment and since it is a shorter pipe, the throttle response is better. Cheaper too at around $220.

I didn't know that they discontinued the Typhoon. I just bought mine several months ago. It ruined my mpg. (I say that because I don't want to blame my lead foot.)

Buy Simota. Throw away filter (which is worth 3-5 hp... in flow losses). Buy K&N of same size. Finito. (cryhard)

screw K&N. ive done a lot of filter testing. K&N are only good if you clean them like every 1000 miles.

if you want a life time filter get a SB filter. but a normal foam filter should be fine

I bought the AEM short ram intake thinking it would just be a short ram, but im imprssed by how it does take air from the lowest point in the engine bay. its awesome, i have the best of both worlds!
