Cold Air Intake w/ ice pack

I saw in Sport Compact Car that they are coming out with a CAI with a box around the piping that will hold dry ice. They say that it will cool intake temperatures by 25-30 degrees F. I think its kind of a joke unless you plan on doing a lot of street racing. I thought that some of you may be interested. I forgot the name of the website, but if you look in the current issue of SCC you should find it towards the front. Its something like www.01designs...

Well if it cools 25-30 degrees your only gonna get 2-3 hp out of it(10 degrees cooler = +1 hp). I would probably never buy anything like that, but its nice to know they have it.

i had a friend that while at the drag strip with his spec v, would through a bag of ice on his injen CAI between runs

i've seen ice bags in jegs for cooling your engine between drag runs.
