coilpacks and ignition

I want a unique coilpack and ignition setup up that will work for the MSP with better spark performance. I have heard srt4 coilpacks work well? Has anyone heard or looked into this. How about a distributor setup?

How about the 1.8 coils/NGK wires/NGK ZFR6 plugs. I say ZFR6 because turbo. I run ZFR5's in mine because NA. Plugs are long reach so spark is little better positioned, coils get off the top of motor & 2 of the plug boots will need trimming to fit around mounting posts for coil on plugs or get a 626 valve cover with cam sensor hole and not have to trim plug wire boots...but you won't have mounting posts for engine cover without getting some of the DG brackets they use to mount the cf engine cover to non-MSP valve covers. I chose to trim plug wire boots and run the MSP valve cover/engine cover setup. I wasted money buying a 626 valve cover that I am not using.

I just got the 1.8L coil setup from a JY for my buddy's MSP, neither of us run the engine cover so we are painting the 1.8 VC. I like the way the coil setup looks but don't expect any kind of performance improvement or change in drive-ability unless your current system is worn out. I'm not sure why you think you need 'better spark performance' but with a properly working stock ignition setup the car will run just fine.
