Coilover questions

I had my car to the road-course a couple of times this summer, and am going to get there a few times a summer. I am looking at the best setup for a DD, and occasional track days. Should I just get a stiffer RSB - stickier tires, and upgrade the brake pads-lines, and call it good ? I have contemplated lowering springs, but everyone says the stock shocks are s***, so my biggest question is how does the ride differ from stock with coilovers ? Can they be adjusted all the way up for DD, and then lowered for track days, and how long to they take to adjust ? If I could get some input from the guys with track experience that would be great. Thanks !!

Adjusting up and down would take some time. To raise the rears with the BC's I have you would have to take the suspension apart to get to the rear adjustment. I have mine pretty low and I just drive that way every day. To be honest the ride is very rough. It is rough enough to jar things loose so I'm constantly getting under the car to tighten everything up soI don't hear clunks all the time. Being 16 though I don't care much. I soften up the shocks for the street but even still it's very rough. On the track though the car is awesome with coils. So much more rotation and stability at high speeds. I think I still need a bigger RSB and brakes/lines but those are things you should get regardless. Tires also make a huge difference for our cars.

Should definitely go with coilovers for any track work.
As for which, depends on which is your priority - track or DD. I have experience with H&R(street oriented) and Cusco(track oriented) and H&R would be too soft for track but has stock-like ride. Cusco(would be similar to KW/MS or BC) is great for track but has punishing ride. If I were you I would go for KW/MS since you're doing several track events and height and damping is easily adjusted.
