Cobb SRI - Still out of stock?

AFAIK they are not on back order anymore but what Kain said it best. that would be the best thing to do

I would go with the Mazda MS3 CAI...especially if you are still under warranty

Perhaps he doesn't want to pay more for something that's going to give him nearly the same results along with the benefit of being easier to install / uninstall, clean, etc. Oh, and with a SRI he'll hear the turbo spool better and have better throttle response. To get your "Mazda MS3 CAI" under the green warranty program it has to be installed by an authorized Mazdaspeed tech which is more $$ down the toilet. And if he lives in a wet climate he'll risk the possibility of hydrolock which isn't covered under warranty and that will be a very expensive repair

FYI, the Green Warranty only requires the part ( such as a MS3 CAI) to be approved by Mazda, it does not have to be installed by a dealer like Blue Warranty parts. And the CAI is much quieter than a SRI...so unless you are a 16 year old ricer, the sound of the SRI will grow old quickly...especially if you use the car as a daily driver. And, while it is highly unlikely that you will hydro-lock with the MS3 CAI unless you attempt to ford a river, if you do, any damage will be covered under your Comprehensive auto insurance coverage...l

You're the biggest MS CAI fanboy I've ever heard of sir, just look at your past post on this forum and others (MS CAI THIS, MS CAI THAT, ETC). You simply can't accept the fact that your flat out wrong on most accounts..

You may want to read up on some that have been having LTFT questions (problems?) with the Cobb SRI as of late. Quality company but I would not buy one myself unless this has been figured out.

I will be on a MSCAI as soon as I scrap up the money.

first of all, this has been discussed before. secondly as per mazda usa's website:

Green Warranty

MAZDASPEED "Green" Performance Accessories must be specifically approved by Mazda for their particular application. These parts are warranted for the first 12-months/12,000 miles from the date of purchase, excluding labor.

What Is Not Covered

* Damage or corrosion due to accidents, misuse, or alterations.
* Damage or surface corrosion from the environment such as acid rain, airborne fallout (chemicals, tree sap), stones, salt road hazards, hail, wind storm, lightning, floods and other natural disaster.
* Normal wear, tear or deterioration such as discoloration, fading, deformation, blurring, etc.
* Replacement parts or accessories installed on any Mazda Vehicle registered or normally operated outside of the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Saipan or American Samoa.
* Replacement parts, or accessories installed on a Mazda Vehicle in which the odometer has been altered, or on which the actual mileage cannot be readily determined.
* Replacement parts or accessories used in applications for which they are not designed.
* Replacement parts or accessories installed improperly by dealers, Importer/Distributor other than Mazda.
* Any replacement part or accessory without proof of purchase or replacement date.
* Non-Mazda replacement parts or accessories which Mazda Dealers may sell or install on your Mazda Vehicle.
* If the vehicle has been classified a total loss and/or sold for salvage purposes or branded for any other reasons.
* Removal of the vehicle from the warranty covered market for which it was produced.

You do not have to have it installed by the dealer to retain green warranty status. The only time that you would have any issues is if it was installed IMPROPERLY by someone other than Mazda.

You, sir, should get your facts straight before you start calling people fan boys, especially considering you are probably one of the biggest cobb sri fan boys other than MS3077 or are you actually him with a new screen name?

just noticed that you are from central Florida just like him too. coincidence??

Geez all this arguing about an intake...personally I went with an SRI because of the insane amount of snow and water/slush we end up getting in the winter/spring here. Anywho far as I know most placed have Cobb SRI's in stock now. And you could always get the CPE Nano its also a great intake.

Just admit your a MS CAI fanboy and deal with it from there, that's the only advice I can give you at this point.

how can you give any kind of advice when you got pwned with the actual warranty info that proved you wrong?

because he has never been able to just admit that he is wrong. thats why anything he says is just crap. I don't claim to know everything and if I am wrong, I admit it. He can't He never has been able to. Not as 15min5k and not as MS3077

You dummies....Read my original post. All I asked was if it is in Stock......I didn't ask for any comparisons (hand). I have my answer. Thank you and good day.:D
