Cobb SRI Legality?

I just ordered the cobb sri and I had a few questions about legality. Is this intake c.a.r.b certified and will it past smog? Or do i need to put the stock airbox back on when getting this done. I also plan on removing it and putting my car back to stock if I ever need to take my car in for warranty. Is there any way for a tech to know that an aftermarket part was installed? One more thing. When I had my last car I had an AEM intake and I got pulled over once and was told that I needed to get the intake certified by a auto referree. Has anyone run into this problem with the cops on their current intake? Maybe if I just slap on a mazdaspeed sticker the cop will think it's part of the vehicle.

i dont think it will have any effect on smog test.

i have never heard of cops pulling over people and checking their engine bay. maybe its just you're area where people are stealing cars and stripping them of their engines and everything. as for the smog test, i'm sure you'll actually run a little leaner but nothing to drastic to effect any type of smog testing.
