Clutch Slipping

I am curious what a slipping clutch feels/sounds like....how do I know if my clutch is slipping?

It just feels like it's slipping. There is a delay between when you let the clutch all the way out, and when it actually catches. Got it?

I think the more common slipping problem with P5 clutches has been a shuddering feeling. It won't catch properly and the car bucks like a mule. What are you experiencing?

Yeah watch the tack, if the revs increase and you don't feel like your speed is increasing, or if you watch them go up right after you shift, only to come back down, or the revs stay put as you start to hook up.

If you have a stock clutch. . .you're slipping. . .guaranteed. If you're gentle, it will work, but if you get on it, that clutch and pressure plate aren't up to the task.

with what u all are telling me...I don't think my clutch is slipping...but it is going to soon enough...it sounds different...there is deff more wear and tear on it

i doubt ur stock one will last long

Time to order up an ACT! I love mine. My stock clutch only had 6k on it and the ACT made a HUGE difference.
