Taken with my Canon PowerShot A1100 IS, lol

so what u think?

Ok, so basically slotting the struts is by far the easiest way to gain camber when you dont have camber plates. Its what i did on all 4 corners. Heres a good pic of a slotted coilover:

See how that top hole is slotted? thats what you want to do. It alloys you to tilt the hub to gain camber as much as you would ever need.

Heres what you want to do:

1. On the strut/hub, Take off the top bolt. Loosen the bottom one

2. Insert the bit in the top hole, then attach it to the drill.

3. Put one lug nut on and slide a pipe onto the lug nut.

4. Start the drill and pull up on the pipe. Be sure to put some PB or some cutting lube on the bit

It took me about 30min to do both sides of the front. Get an alignment after, your caster will be effed up.

BTW: not my idea, Credit goes to Mike aka weaksauce.

^^ NIce. SHould make a how too.

Civickilla- Thats ******* serious poke man... your past hella flush...your herra fushh... it prob look ******* nuts with some more camber. Interested to see what you do with the color of the wheels.

hey i have an MSP are the shock length and diameter the same as the dx protege? i want this same set up but im not sure if it will work for the MSP thanks!

lol the poke really isnt as serious as in the pics, it pokes....yea, but not really alot
it pokes in the front a tad bit more then i like to see, but he is still adjusting camber so it'll look better eventually

edit: and im all for slotting the strut, its easy, and awesome lol but the only issue i think is that he doesnt have a ton of clearance on the inside of the strut, so wouldnt adjusting more neg. camber make the top of the wheel closer to the strut?
