citykids' newb P5 build

Perfect amount of drop. Really clean and tasteful mods, well done!

Thanks for the praise, still trying to sort the suspension/handling out, next we can move onto getting better n/a performance out of it!

It's been awhile since I've last posted, but suspension is sorted out for the most part. Here's a pic of the rear with the new subframe, Megan Racing lateral links and Racing Beat sway bar. I'm waiting on my bushings to come in so I can install the front Racing Beat bar...more updates to come!

The 2002 Mazda Protege5...the most fun you can have while going slow.

Hey kev what's going on! We need to sit down and plan out the next piece that we have been talking about.

Yeah, Kev - I'm waiting to see if you'll post on here that you're considering dropping a Honda motor in a P5! Instant flame war

Maybe but I am both a Honda enthusiasts as well as a Mazda enthusiasts. I like pushing the boundary and a Honda k series powered p5 sounds good.

my whole thing about using a Honda engine is for 1 it's currently powered by a Ford Motor and 2 it does not make good power for it's size. It's a 2.0 and only makes about 130hp. The k 20, 08 civic si 2.0, make 197 hp. Granted the fs2.0 is a great motor I just want to do something different.
