Choose My Caliper Color!

I'm stuck, don't know if I should go with blue or red for my caliper paint. What's your vote and maybe a reason why?

Personally, if I had a blue P5, I would give a few coats of a bright yellow on those calipers.Yellow seems to look sweet on a blue P5. There are alot of photos around to back up my claim. Leave the red to us guys that have silver cars

red, it will match the strut tower bar. blue will be very hard to see behind the wheels and people won't even know that its painted.

I have a Midnight Blue P5 as well. I am doing my calipers, my strut bar, and my CAI in Mazda Vivid Yellow.

I am ordering a CAI from BigBen when I get the funds, the strut bar will be done by my friend's day who owns a body shop. He will sandblast the red off and then throw on a couple of coats of yellow then a clear enamel to save the color.

I went with yellow on my red Miata, and I think that yellow works fine for most dark colors. I used standard Krylon "sunburst yellow" from Lowes, and the heat hasn't bothered the color at all in over a year - To heck with paying a fortune for that high temp stuff.

i don't think so!!! i have a blue p5 and yellow calipers just doesn't look right. Either silver or the same color of the car (i went silver) looks pretty good, but, its just my opinion, keep up the good work

i would have to say red, my neighbour has a green mx6 with yellow caliper, i don't like it, i think red will be a better choice. besides, wouldn't brake dust be more visible on yellow calipers?

Not a problem if you clean them when you wash the car. Brake dust doesn't stick mutch on the paint, it's very easy to remove with a wet cloth.

I personally like the looks of the Blue and Red. Dark Blue Porsches don't look bad with their red calipers...

That sold me... looks good, but not for me. I'm going with the red, just a matter of when now. Thanks for the pic, Chuck. BTW, where do you have the amp placed?
