I actually got a stainless steel band, I was kinda ify about it at first, but it's not bad and I can shine it up with little effort.

titanium knobs are light but come on....jsut make the bloody thing out of carbide. it never scratches, has a molecular weight close to platinum and i doubt it would run you 75 grand.....on a side note can you imagine your insurance claim when someone steals your p5 and you are listing the value of the contents? cds - $350, stereo $1,000 pure platinum shift knob $75,000.....
