Check your inlet clamp!

With all the reviews I have read on turbo inlets many people have complained about being able to pull the inlet off without loosening it so I decided to pull the TMIC cover off and check. Using a 10mm long socket and rachet I go in to check. BTW it is way easier to get to from the passenger side (on the MS3). IT WAS REALLY LOOSE! I couldn't believe it. So after this I am like well I might as well check the CX7. Pulled off the TMIC cover and reach back there (plenty of room on the driver's side) and it was just as loose, if not more loose. Gotta see how the car responds to this tomorrow morning.

Thank you Mazda!(notcool)

hmm. thanks for the tip. i'll check both our cars when i get a minute.

Would you please add a picture when you check yours "wannabe", as I don't know what the inlet looks like. Thank you.

Take off the IC cover. Looks for the rear boost tube. Directly below that you will see a clamp. That is the clamp you need to tighten.
