the projection screens are nice just the bulbs can be expensive however last a good time.

Like the second one, sunken in wall...hot.

the screen from the ceiling is nice, but the other one has a bad layout for speakers, i dont even see any except for the center way up top which is definately less than ideal

I've spen the last month planning and designing our new home theater for downstairs. got the projector, 110" screen on the way, and now I'm lookin at audio. I'm building the fixed screen including all front speakers into a wooden wall unit. the only thing you'll see will be the screen and black grills for the speakers.

Who's setup is this above?

you dont need a screen, just use a thick bed sheet, works just as good lol

if i were setting up a home theatre i would have a motorized screen comming down from the celing for movies mated to a dlp projector, the projector is hooked up to the computer and dvd player. for tv i would have an array of 4-27" viewsonic LCD TV's (only 1000 CDN each). for home theatre it would be an 8ch 1200w with paradigm speakers all around. for fun i would have 4 12" car subs 500W RMS each powered by 4 500W RMS amps hooked up to the reciever for low level input via RCA active splitter.
