okay the idea behind this took about 2 weeks of planning and careful thought, here are some in the process photos and two finished product photos: 1) during the day, 2) during the night with it lit up! The light behind the emblem turns on with the driving lights and stays on then with the headlights as well.

If anyone is interested in how to do this i can post more pics and a walkthrough.

When I shaved my emblems off my hatch door I glued them to my box.

You can kind of see what I mean in the attached pictures.

It would be cool to back light my emblems on my sub box. So please shed some "light" on how you did this.

okay ill make a very detailed how to when i have more time but, i bought a 4' red neon and used the double sided tape to stick it to the bottom of the cd player. You must cut off the cig lighter plug and then put the ground to a nut on the frame and the the other wire wherever you wanna draw power off of, in my case i did the fog light button which also makes it so it turns on w/the driving lights. As for the emblem part is just one of the new style wheel caps and the emblem pops right off of the backing, then u make a hole and glue it on, i used hot glue. The red background is red gift paper i found at a hobby store. thats that, again i will make a detailed how to w/ pics and steps tools needed and etc when i have time to, dont worry though i will make a how to!

Anyway, that is a very nice mod. I have been wanting to do something with that little dead spot on the radio myself. I at least want to remove the "Multi-Function Audio" lettering. I don't know how to do that without abrading the plastic though. What you did looks VERY good.
