Changing mind about Mazdaspeed?

I don't know guys, I'm starting to really question whether or not all this wait is worth it. On top of it all, I keep looking at my MP3 wondering if it's really worth getting rid of her. She is still by far the best looking sedan for the price I've seen. the blue paint, the yellow cali's, those Racing Harts, it all fits perfectly.

I guess, not being able to see the new Titaniums in person is really starting to get to me. Seeing the very few pics we've had of it isn't really doing it for me anymore. I was hoping to get some really nice good quality pics to "grab my interest" again, but, they never show up. You would think Mazda would actually post something on their web site....but noooooo, that's too easy. they got pics of the yella one, but no titaniums?????

The fact that my car isn't selling is driving me nuts as well.

I may just have to forget about getting the speed soon. I'm not waiting forever. I have a lot i need to get for the house this summer, and I have all my funds tied up for this damn car that never shows up.

I might try to get up and take out the Orange one again to remind me why I'm waiting. haven't driven it since Jan.

The fact that there are so many problems with the speed is getting to me as well. At least with the mp3, all I got is the clunk problem. My tranny is perfect, she rides excellent, no rattles....it's all good. and I still like my stereo better in the mp3, and like my rims better...sorry msp owners.

Anyhow, I'm rambling, sorry.

No no....you got your heart in the right place. It's hard to wait and be patient. Here's my take...if you've got enough to buy a 2003.5, why not just get the spool turbo kit? I mean...there is the nice warrantyon the new one and all...but the turbo let's you get your hands dirty. Of course you'll need to get some other stuff...but you get the point. It's not as if you have a bad car or are thinking of getting another...RIGHT???? What ever decision you make, is completely up to you...but, in true AGR#7 fashion....

I LOVE MY MAZDASPEED!!!!

ps. I think you'd like one too!

I dont know how you could give up your mp3. Maybe if it was for a laser blue MSP, but ur in canada so no luck there.

I totally agree with you on the best looking car for the price. Its just so nice. (from another mp3 owners point of veiw)

indeed!!!!

Newf: I cannot believe you still don't have your car!! What is the deal there?

I Love My MAZDASPEED!!!

But on this day: My wife's Protege ES got all the attention. I did the Meguiar's Step 1 Cleaner followed by the Meguiar's Gold Class Wax. It looks so good. That Silver is incredible after being waxed!!

newf,

if you got the money and you like the style of the 2003.5 then why don't you just wait for mazda to release the silver and blue versions of the msp in a few more months. you already gotta wait for the 2003.5s what is another few months?.... by then the clunk and hesitation should(and better!) be solved.

as for your rims and stereo, just go back to the same dealership you bought the mp3 at and tell them you want to swap out your wheels/tires and stereo into the msp.

IMO it is a win-win situation to the dealer. your quality mp3 w/ the msp wheels and stereo, and they sold you a anther car:) .

quit whining! big baby.

geezus, don't settle for less becuz its not around, wait, its worth it trust me, and if you like your rims and sterio transfer them over to the msp when you get it, sept id get rid of those centercaps lol ;).

he wnated picks of a titanium msp he already has a mp3 he knows what it looks like LMFAO

1. Turbo kit, a great idea, that's not going to happen. I'm in Canada, and a small town. Spools kits is great and all, but do the conversion, and it's not worth it. Plus, there's nobody in town that can propery maintain it, tune it etc, and my warranty is f%%%'d. I

2. Those pics are of the blue MSP. Real purdy, but we in Canada don't get blue

3. We also won't get silver, so another couple of months waiting?????? not going to happen.

4. I would never take old rims and put them on a new car...ie, my mp3 ones on the new msp. Why? While they are in great shape, they still have a few pit marks. Anyone with an mp3 knows all about the pit marks. Mine are actually almost perfect but still, I want new rims on a new car, and this car is a lease so I'm not sure how that would even work.

well it seems your've come to a realization then buddy, stop the whining and stick with what you originally wanted, stop trying to talk yourself out of the car, cuz if you do your jsut gonna wonder for the rest of your like what if what if. Just like your doing right now.

you are whining, cuz not a week ago you were so pumped about the titanium, look you even made a sig thinking about it.

your whining cuz they released the yellow and not the titanium. i dont blame ya i'd be hesitant about waiting for the car too, but if you truely want it.. u'll wait for it, if not you prolly never wanted it to begin with. it was prolly one of those new car fever phases.

I'm not on the rags!

I still love the Titanium, but I'm just wondering if I like my MP3 more.

More then likely, I'll stick with getting the Speed, why? Because every time I push my peddle down in the mp3, I want more power. That ultimately is the only reason why I want the speed.

Now, if I can't sell the MP3, then, I may very well be stuck. At least I'll still have a sweet car :)

Whining or not, you can't deny that there are more then enough reasons or should I say problems about the Speed to make a possible buyer weary. Lets see, hesitation, leaks, clunk still, stalling, then there's the year wait to get one. I have been waiting since Nov.

here's is what you do, you find some kid at a highschool that wants a phat ride, and hook him up with ur mp3. :)

Ryan, unfortunately, that's the problem. All the people that want it are just out of high school, and they have no $$$.

LOL, find the right one with rich parents and ur set. thats how most of my friend in there 20 thats are getting rid of there cars beucz they are starting families they have sold them to kids in highschool. all the kid has to do is take a loan form the bank they cut u a check, and they make payments to a bank. put it this way if i had 0 credit and my bank gave me a 25k loan jsut taking a chance on me, i think any kid with 0 credit can get a loan to cover ur mp3.

btw thats wut my bank did gave me a 25k loan, and i baught my msp :).
