Changing Antenna on Mazda 3

Hey,
I am interested in buying one of those short antennas on eBay for my 07 Mazda 3. I am afraid that it will get here and ill have no idea how to install. If you do know how to change the antenna please post.

If you're putting a stubby on the car then just unscrew the whip and the new one will screw right on.

I'd suggest checking out the sharkfins at www.sharkfinantenna.com. They'll get better reception than most stubbies, look better (at least on the 4 door, I think.) Plus if you have a satellite antenna you can hide it underneath.

I think those sharkfins are hideous on most cars, especially the mz3, go with the stubby.

Just so everyone considers this option, the OEM CX-7 stubby antenna will get better reception than ebay stubbies. Unfortunately, the CX-7 stubby is on major backorder because people have realized it fits on several Mazda's (Mazda3/5/6, Pro5).

The plain black one, 2.55 inches is on this site for 5.99 plus 5 shipping. The reception is 3 out of 5, and at that price I'll take it. I dont listen to the radio all that much, and at 10.99 shipped I think it is a great deal. I used paypal beacuse I am not familiar with the site, but if you still want a stubby antenna you should check out that site, they have other type of stubbys as well!!!

They are in stock at OnlineMazda. $13. I just got mine today.
