This was suggested to try and assist the members in getting the info they need where they need it; ie, to make the forum more efficient. It's not intended to create a division between the MSP owners and other Mazda owners, just meant to make it easier on us all. If someone needs specific information on the MSP turbo setup, they presently post about it directly in the Mazdaspeed forum as opposed to using the Performance general forum. There are some very Mazdaspeed-specific issues that would benefit from more targeted organization, however in suggesting this I didn't take into account the possibility of "forum politics;" I certainly didn't intend to ruffle any feathers. Mathew was just making an attempt to create the opportunity for change... please don't fault him for his effort =)

If the administrators of this forum feel these changes are innapropriate, then so be it. I've been a moderator and administrator for forums like this for over 5 years now, and I've seen a lot of what works and what doesn't in that period of time... but I'm only one of the teeming throng who are participants at this forum. Please forgive my indulgence in trying to create some deeper organization and efficiency =)

thank you, they seem to think i decided this on my own. i was only creating the thread, using my experience from before as to which breakdown sections were most popular, to help these guys out.

as for the only p5 owner complaining or whatever. i dont care, i personally surf using the right hand thread column and dont discriminate which section i post in.

we at least should get a KNOWN problems/issues thread. but i think it should be for all cars, not just mazdaspeed. or whatever works.

good suggestions,
i think we should implement a known problems thing along with
performance

maybe you are part of the problem then.

youre missing my point. i was saying that it wouldnt matter to me if all the sections were broken up, i dont surf by sections anyhow.

sorry, forgot your no long a mod. To be honest, I don't read half your post anymore. I've been biting my lip trying to keep my mouth shut for months, giving you the benefit if the doubt, and hoping you would stop this nonsense. i know your trying to "organize" things, and I have no issues with that. It's the manner of which you go about doing anything, it's like the actions of a 10 year old.

AS for the rest of your statement.....I think it speaks tons of your character by itself, and I don't need to say anything except, I've seen you in countless threads argueing with other people. You haven't been here that long, and personally, I'd like to see some more respect to some of the other members from you.

And if you haven't figured it out yet, this is NOT just about this thread.

btw: This is my last reponse to this crap

good because youre an idiot. your poor little baby biting your tongue. i feel so horrible if i have offended you.

You're the ******* idiot and you're too stupid to realize it. Maybe so many people don't like you (and trust me, there are a lot, regardless of if you care or not) because you're just a fuckhead! Why do you waste so much time on here? I'm really glad MY tax dollars go to pay YOUR salary and all you do is sit and surf a stupid car forum all damn day picking fights with people you don't know.

Why don't you put your energy towards something a little more constructive? It's your friends who are getting killed overseas - try focusing on that for a little while. Makes organizing a forum a lot less important, huh?

It's your inane whining and bickering that makes me so want to put you on my ignore list ... oh yeah, that's right, I CAN BECAUSE YOU'RE NO LONGER A MOD! BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Just goes to show what a little power can do to a little (meaning petty) man.

Go ahead and flame away, because I don't have to read the s*** that comes from your childish intellect any more.

Oh yeah, in case you didn't get the jist of this post, Matthew (or RazorP5, since he had to change his name) is a dumb ass, stereotypical military person who can never be wrong and feels the need to impose his thoughts on everyone like it's the gospel.

Nobody cares what you think. Go away.

OK...BACK ON TOPIC!!!

If you want to b**** to each other, please start a thread in the Flamewars section.

The MSP section should NOT be changed. It would only segragate MSP owners even farther from the rest of the forum. We definitely DON'T want that to happen.

We need a mod who will move posts like a madman. Not out of spite, not for personal reasons. But if someone posts a question about a boost controller for the MSP, it should be moved to the Forced Induction section. A question about adding a better subwoofer should be moved to the Car Audio/Electronics section. The MSP section should only be used for general MSP talk. Problems specific to the MSP (like the hesitation) should also be allowed in the MSP section.

After a few days of posts being moved where they're supposed to, people will eventually get the picture. You won't stop all of the nonsense, but it will cut it down greatly. And it will be for the better good of EVERYBODY. MSP people will get more replies on average to their questions. And hopefully, the MSP people will come across as being less snobbish to everyone else.

My vote is to leave the MSP section as it is, but put a new moderator in place.

gee where to start, youve said so much interesting stuff here

yes im off today, and on the weekend. i work weekdays unless im deployed or in the field or have duty. funny, cause my tax dollars pay my salary as well.

interesting statement. what should i do? ive already been there overseas and been shot at? ive already volunteered to go back, but im on 6 month stablization upon return. ill prolly be re-deploying sometime in may back to the hot zone. so if you think i dont concentrate on this everyday, youre so far from reality. if you really think this forum is more important to me over my job or the people with me in my job - you are truly the ******* moron.

Oh yeah, in case you didn't get the jist of this post, Matthew (or RazorP5, since he had to change his name) is a dumb ass, stereotypical military person who can never be wrong and feels the need to impose his thoughts on everyone like it's the gospel.
like you mentioned, you dont have to listen to my s***, but i will continue to say it because im not an idiot like you, worried about what people think. i can be wrong, like everyone. i never said what i think is gospel as you say. i dont care if people agree or not. please explain to all of us military folk on this forum what a stereotypical military guy is like? if you mean dedicated to his country, serving his country, and possibly dying for his country, i guess im guilty. im not so sure of whatever the hell else you are talking about.

oh, and by the way - i changed my name from razorp5 to matthew because i wanted people at meets to call me matthew not razor, you dumb ****. i didnt HAVE to do s***. i didnt change anything but my name. left the avatar the same, the sig the same, and the post count changed not one bit. so like i really thought i was gonna go incognito

oh and as much as i try to pick fights with people (ok whatever), or offend little boobie fed bitches like yourself, and piss people off, and tell them off, and put a post where you can tell me what you think of me linked in my sig which is spread out through this entire forum, its still a vote in the favor of positive:

54-29(neutral)-28(negative).

and frankly, im not too impressed with those numbers. if you want to continue this flame by calling me stupid, id love to have a battle of wits with you. prove how im stupid or come up with something original that numerous other people havent said twenty times three times per week. you impress no one, and you are a no one. youre so non-existant, i forgot if ive ever even seen your piddly ass screen name before.

bottom line, when you can come up with something original to flame me about, instead of throwing up garbage that a million people have already said, and got no where, then come see me for the battle of wits. but as of right now - i see youre unarmed.

its sad when u got a guy with his head stuck so far up his ass he doesnt realize when he smells of s***.....grow up matthew, take ur "idiot" and "stupid" s*** cus it doesnt make sense, u post this topic to "help" msp owners, then u bash us cus we "are"16 year old kids with no sense of tuning or whatever....then u turn and say well some msp owners have prior turbo knowledge, u are flipping back and forth and make no sense what so ever, i feel its just easier to have a sperate section for each car cus its easier to post. instead of me having to do a search thru the msp forum and suspension forum just to find the specs on a factory suspension system, i could just go to the msp section and then the suspension forum and get it alot easier....i dont feel i have a supreme super car, its a nice warrenty covered turbo car for cheap, thast why i sold my 300whp 240sx for it, this aint supraforums, if a kid wants to show that he beat someone, cool what is the big deal in it? u obviously got some rooted issues i never saw since im new here but i recommend talkin with someone about it

People, come on. Act like adults, and take this to the Flamewars section. If I were a mod, your posts would be deleted. The topic is about changing the MSP forum...NOT for bitching at each other. Can't you at least TRY to stay somewhat on topic?

i agree jersey, i just stated why i think its more organized to have sections for each car

f- the msp owners that want their own sections.

the site was fine before them and they'll learn sooner or later that there is more than one section to the forum. until then we'll have to deal with the stupidity and egos.

wanna know something funny? this can be backed up by several staff members if they have the balls (i know at least 1st mp3 in nh will).

i was made mod of the msp section after i cleaned up the p5 section in one night. before i started cleaning up the section, i asked advice of all the staff in the staff only section on what should be moved, merged, deleted, etc. i was given input AND the go ahead to do so.

i commenced to moving all irrelevant and repeated threads, and merged similar threads. i started off by leaving a polite note as to why each post was being moved, so the owners could find it.

guess what? at one point in a span of 15 minutes there were three exact same threads, in the msp section no less, flaming me for moving posts.

but even better - as soon as the flaming started, the majority of the staff on this board went and hid like a bunch of bitches and denied ever telling me to go ahead with the cleanup, and none except craig (1st mp3) had the balls to stand up and admit that he as well as others supported the moves.

but yet EVEN better - there was another msp mod moving posts AT THE SAME EXACT time as me, i dont know who it was, but they were working the exact same pages. how do i know? because when i would go to move a thread, it would say it had already been moved while i was reading it. but guess what? no one admitted to moving other threads because they were too afraid to get flamed.

THAT is why i was removed as a mod. because Enry and Antoine (he was outta town however), despite the support from the staff, as soon as the flaming began and the bitching began, got scared. just so you guys know and arent jaded.

THATS when i decided that most of the MSP owners are true assholes. why? because i removed and changed and deleted over 100 threads from the p5 section with no comments except a few compliments, but 100s of msp owners felt they were above all the other sections and felt that everything should be in the msp section.

granted, there are like 100 msp owners that are totally cool as ****. but frankly, most of you people dont impress me all that much. and i really didnt give a ****, but nothing beats getting stabbed in the back from the administration.

but yet, here we are, months later, people saying the msp section needs cleaned up etc etc. and every time someone says that, craig says "matthew tried and you all bitched". but yet there is always someone in one of these threads that says either craig or i, or just me, or just craig, should clean up the section. its really quite funny, and quite possibly the only thing on this board to get under my skin.

even the idiots like flat black, smolten, chick magnet, and albert mean nothing. but i shake my head everytime someone says this, because its been done, and you would think by doing it i stung each msp owner in the nuts with a scalding hot needle.

i have nothing againts MSP ppl...but if u hate them so much, wouldnt you WANT them to stay in their own lil secluded section?? then you DONT have to deal with their so-called "stupidity and egos"

who has an ego? so far i see two ppl with serious ego issues.....and why is everything stupid to you guys? can u pull out something from ur thick skulls that makes sense ?

mx3ownzj00: That's why I think a mod that will actually move posts is needed. And not someone who will do it for a few days, then get lazy and stop.

AutoBox - Yes, it will be more organized, but I still think it's better overall (for all members of the forum, not just the MSP people) to have the MSP section just for general MSP talk. But the choice is up to everyone. I'm glad you voted. But try not to post any negative personal remarks about anyone...this is a serious issue for all members of the forum, and this thread should be limited to discussion about the proposed changes.

well from my prior experience on nissan forums, we had sections for each car, with sub forums for engine, suspension, interior/exterior, etc etc ....... it just makes sense, im talkin about sections for each car model, not just the msp

im not tryin to bash anyone, but its nasty when u got ppl with serious issues about things that are pointless

1) i started the thread ONLY because of a discussion in another thread. i chose to start the thread, because i had been through the flaming the last time the msp owners wanted their own sections, and new what the most popular topics were. not because i agreed that they need a new section. i agree with MX3 that they need to get a life and post in the correct sections rather than get their own section. but i made this post only because i knew of the most popular topics (notice the compliments on the good choice of topics).

2) once again, you didnt read my whole post. not only did i specifically state i didnt want this to be a flame, and not only did i NOT state that you guys didnt have knowledge (i said older owners knew more and older tuners like yourself knew more), but i said it over and over. the reason people keep calling people stupid, is because they dont read a whole post or thread before they begin to flame. if you would have read the whole thread or post, as well as the other people, this would have turned into a discussion and not a flame.

another example of where you didnt read the whole post before bitching:

ill quote myself:

if we can get this to work, maybe we can break down the 3rd gen protege section, etc
