just wondering if anyone has changed their front turn signal light to like a white LED or something? is it Legal to change the color of these bulbs?
i understand that the turn signal lights comes on at night when we turn on the front light, and it blinks when we do the turn signal,
so if anyone changed the bulbs to led, would the bulbs blink when we make the turn signal?

I changed mine to switchback LEDS. Resistors required. If you have a 2014 with LEDS (do they come w/led?) you probably ownt nede a resistor.

ah it looks nice...resistors sounds not easy lol...
my 14 is still the regular bulb...not sure if it has to do with the non tech package...
maybe i will just use some other color regular bulbs then...

Personally I prefer the amber light. But for the purpose of confirming since the OP is in Texas, it is legal to emit white light in Texas.

==========
Sec. 547.324. TURN SIGNAL LAMPS REQUIRED....
(d) A turn signal lamp shall emit:

(1) a white or amber light, or a color between white and amber, if the lamp is mounted on the front of the vehicle; or

(2) a red or amber light, or a color between red and amber, if the lamp is mounted on the rear of the vehicle.

The resistor is not hard to plug up. The annoyong part is identifying the wires (which i have done). Probably cheap to install if you paid a shop.

When the indicator comes on, do the white LED's on the unit stay lit along with the amber LED's?

I checked our incandescent bulbs, and they are dual filaments which both are lit when the indicators are activated (with one filament being constant). That obviously means current is being run through both filaments. This had me wondering if the switchback LED units will have the white LED's remain on as the ambers are on during indication.
