Change a Cabin Filter - 2006 RX8?

Does anyone know how to change the AC Cabin Filter in a 2006 RX8?

I took my car to the dealer yesterday to have the oil changed and of course they found a bunch of things I should have done that came to a grand total of over $800. I paid for the oil change and left. (pissed) I have been told by other people that the cabin filter is easy to change and to check my manual, nothing in there.

Please help! I saw some filters on ebay from a store and they say they come with instructions, but I don't want to get in over my head.

Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Can't be of a lot of help as I have never done this nor have looked at one for an rx8 but I know most car manufactures have the filter behind the glove compartment and is usually easy to get to.

Yep. VERY easy to do.
Drop the glove box down and I believe it's two little twists to open the air box. Filter is right there and obvious. See if it needs replacing for yourself. My 8 is an 05 and the filter is still in new condition.

I do use the windows a lot though...
