trick with getting a sunset shot, is not getting the sky to look good, it's getting the car to look good too.
I can never find the free time on a good night to get some real shots the way I want them to. I had about 5 mins tonight to play with the flash and other settings. Killer with using built in flashes is sometimes you'll get the flash reflecting off of the car.
1st pic - no flash
2nd- flash, small glare on front bumper
3rd - flash but with flash glare on car.
Ideally, you want another light source to light up the car I guess. But, what was behind me was a mountain, and nothing else. I guess the next time I'll bring the spot lights, and 2 or 3 guys with those mirror type jobbies to reflect the light onto the car
none of these pics are enhanced. It's not worth the time.
