Hey, it's more fun to make someone compile the list w/o ghost entries.

So I got it on Wednesday and unfortunately haven't gotten any pictures up yet, but I did get a chance to install it in the car. Of course, if the demand is high, I'll have to just uninstall it and take pictures. After all, it only takes 5 seconds to install.

Driving Impressions:

All I can say is "YES!" I can actually enjoy the way my car handles now! I can actually appreciate the suspension, the low end torque powering out of a turn in conjuction with the LSD. I took my normal route to work and did my normal turns and that CG-Lock is just brilliant. It kept my ass planted and I seriously could focus 100% on driving rather than bracing myself or forcing myself back into the seat so I could stay put. I had my clutch foot ready to shift without an insecure feeling at all.

I even took my gf for a ride and had her just tug up on the top portion of her seatbelt, to mimick what I was experiencing. She definitely could tell how it'd be better to have it. You pull on the top belt so it digs into your gut nice and snug but the results are fantastic.

As far as daily driving/taking it into the dealership, I can see how it'd get in the way sometimes. I may just take it off for dealership visits. After all, it's literally only 2 Allen screws and remove the clamp off the seatbelt.

I hope this helps, but if you guys want pictures, let me know!

Jim hasn't responded back to me as of yet from my e-mail. I'll try again if I don't hear from him the beginning of next week. I'm willing to be patient considering how fast he got me everything anyhow. He's otherwise been 100% on responses and communication.

Sorry to respond to the thread so late guys. I got everything negotiated with Jim at SoJDM.com!

Post up your experiences when you get them! A small installation tip: The instructions can be very awkward for some reason. When CG-Lock designed the instructions, they didn't pay close attention to detail on the stickers and serial numbers on the pictures and how the lock was pictured.

1) Install clamp onto CG-Lock using the 2 shorter allen screws using supplied allen wrench. Only thread the clamp so you have enough room for it to bite over the seatbealt edge.
2) Remove the top CG-Lock "slide" completely off the CG-Lock. This will allow you to run the seatbelt along the top of the clamp. Once the seatbelt is over it, slide the "slide" over the CG-Lock. Press down on the release if necessary.

You guys should be able to figure it out but I need to, i'll uninstall mine and do a video tutorial lol.

Thanks, Silver Ecstasy! I just ordered mine.

I borrowed a friends while I was at TOD and it helped a ton. Feels weird driving without it now, I'll be ordering mine soon.

*Well it seems as the discount code expired already, too bad.

i have them on my driver and front passenger seat. i find that they hold you in the seat far better (especially on full leather seats which can be quite slippery)

i also feel that it improves your posture enough when seated for long drives. my back used to really bother me on longer rides and now it pretty much got rid of that problem.

i recommend them for daily driving and i have friends that use it for event driving as well.
