Thanks man! Good luck with the P2's, 10's are all you need. lol I didn't fix the mirror since I parked the car with just under 40k miles. I'm at college and it's ******* sick. haha Call me sometime to see what's up. I will be back hopefully getting my cast off on October 6th if you guys wanna do something that weekend. Later guys!

How was the CAI install? I'm nervous about buying a CAI, my worry is hydrolocking my motor because I messed with the spashguards to mount my lip, so I'm not sure they're 100% water tight, or as good as they were from the factory.
Also, how's the move going/gone?

Ok, so I spent 3hrs working on the engine bay and barely scratched the surface. Did you know under all that grease/grime/oil there is actually paint on the frame - like the paint that's on the outside of your car?!?!
So I mainly concentrated on the air druct/front frame/side frame/ and the power steering (?) line.
It's tough to tell from the pics, but in person you'd be able to tell how nicely it cleaned up. Unfortunately I got a bit overzealous and used a brush that scratched some paint, so I'll prolly hit it with scratch-x to see if that'll help any.
I didn't really touch the valve cover, too much s*** on it, so I'll figurte out how to unbolt it all and maybe even take it off t o clean it. Also I have A LOT of corroded pipes/pumps, any suggestions for adressing that?

If your gonna take the valve coverage out .... might aswell just paint it (right ?)
As far as the corroded pipes/pumps I got this heavy duty acid that my uncle gave me, don't know the name cuz he gave to me in a 409 bottle... (I'll ask him) Sprayed the acid in the most effected areas and then used a small steel brush acouple of times (need open area and rubber gloves). Then I washed it down with decreaser... once I cleared everything acouple of times. Then I gave the full bay a bath with WD-40, just for our crazy winters... (it helps) wiped everything down to spread it as much as I could... turned her on (might smoke for a bit) let her cool down again and touched up with WD-40 (yes again) and let her sit for the next day.... I'll post picks once I get the CAI in and the radiator cover I'm working on finished.
It's allot of work at first... but once your done its easy to keep it up...

hehe I'm in the garage under the hood of my car polishing as I type this (literally, laptop is under the hood with me haha)
I just thought I'd mention a big car show that's happening two weekends from now (on Saturday the 16th) in Rochester. It's at RIT, but isn't exactly school sponsored (more like being run by some people with ties to RIT so that we can use the parking lots without paying the normal rental fees).
