Center console relentless creak

Car is 3 - 4 months old. Everytime the car turns, hit a small bump, breaks (basically does anything except running straigh on dead level) there is a plastic creaking sound. Driving around town, it is a near constant sound creaking at least 3 - 4 times a second. [Also my hearing is shot, so if I can hear it, then it's bad..... not to mention I always have music on].

It comes from the plastic [driver's] side to the center console. In fact, if you lift up the cover to the drink holder and grab the very top of the plastic side (on the left) and wiggle it slightly, you 'll probably hear the nose that I am hearing.

Anyone else got this and got a fix? I guess I will have to pull and push it until I find a point that helps stop it and then jam something down in to that spot.... but thus far, I have not found the magic spot.

Cannot imagine the dealership will help, since they are basically useless. I have been trying to ignore it, but it is getting worse and worse.

Thanks

I have it too and it drives me nuts. It's amazing but this kind of thing to me is incredibly annoying while others barely notice it. When I borrow a relative's G35 I'm constantly looking around for where each squeak and rattle is coming from. My last car (Subaru Legacy GT) was rock solid and I drove it 60,000 miles with none of these types of noises. I've had the CX-9 for less than a month so I haven't had a chance to explore the source of these console squeaks but maybe there's some place where some lubricant can be sprayed to quite things down a bit.

Ditto for me. Noticed it a month after I bought it. It's a really big annoyance. I submitted a post on this same topic and there were a couple of suggestions. I think a dealer even fixed the creaking.

Same issue with my '09 Mazda CX-9! I'm tempted to tear the dash apart but will probably wait until I ask the dealership about it. Drives me nuts when I'm not listening to music! Only 4000 miles on the car...

Please someone post if you've figured out how to stop it.
