Illustrator first, photoshop second...thats the name of the game

I think one of you guys that is good at this should make a how-to so the rest of us can learn how to make our own.
whats that saying?

give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach him to fish and he'll drink at 6am?
yeah something like that.

I know there's one on the other protege boards, but not exactly sure where, it's pretty good but i think i could do a better one. I work as a graphic designer / creative director so i know a little about this stuff, and i've taught photoshop before. I'll do one in about a week or so once i get my laptop back. Jflo is good i'm sure he'll hook ya up too...

is there anyway i could import the paths from illustrator into photoshop ? illustrator makes nice curves, but it's a pain to do all the colors and shadow shapes.

that's the one i used ! but yeah, eventually i'll make a tutorial, or txrxs will (damn, graphic designer/creative director !? sweet)

oh yeah, family, college, work (that job might be coming in soon), have come in to play, so not as much sitting at home at the computer...so i don't think i'll be doing any more cell shades for a while...but we'll see, that'll probably change

Jflo, you can do it a couple ways, cut + paste from illustrator, or save your illustrator document as a eps, then open it in photoshop...if you have any more questions hit me up on pm

you guys just using illustrator to do the curves for the outline then doign the rest in photoshop?
