On the way to work Sunday I was cruising at 45 MPH for a few minutes and out of no where my 2005 6s threw a CEL and went into limp mode. I could not exceed 38 MPH nor go over 2500 rpm.

I turned off the car, restarted it, and it was fine. I then drove it 2 more drive cycles and the CEL went off. The dealer looked at it yeastureday and determined that it trhough a P2112 code and that the TB had a flat spot in its response, it was basicly reporting that the TB was open when it was not. They replaced the Tb under warrenty and now I can see that there was definitly a problem as the car just got a good shot in the ass of power.

So if you have an intake and you get this same issue, let me know and I will fax my report to your dealer showing that it happens to totaly bone stock cars.

dealerships are so ass backwards sometimes. if it's something simple to fix, they'll choose the complicated more expensive route and fix it themselves free of charge. if it's something complicated, they'll help you out by doing a simple inexpensive fix, but you'd have to pay for anything more than that

Well, I have not popped the hood yet so its possible that the TB is still in place with just a sensor swap. I am only restating what my paper work said. Also there is a possiblity that these TBs have other issues that have been since addressed so they find it better to just get the bastart out of there.

Either way, free to me so I could care less.
