CEL after cleaning MS CAI?

I did a normal service on the car this weekend and finally got around to cleaning the MS CAI using their kit. The filter was pretty dirty. After cleaning, I let it dry completely, etc.

I got around to driving the car today and about 15 minutes down the road, I got a CEL. My question is whether this is just an ECU issue because the filter is less restrictive and I just need to reset the ECU (unhook the battery)?

Thanks

just disconnect the battery and let it sit for 5 min then restart, but allow it to idle for 5 min without giving it gas, the ECU needs time to recalibrate after that you should be fine.
what is the CODE you got btw?

Thanks. Have not actually checked the code yet. Just got the light on the way to work. I will mess with it later tonight...

Worked like a charm. Thanks for the help.

The ECU needs a variety of load conditions to properly set all of the fuel trims.
