Catback, Muffler, Spark plug, and Cold Air

Hello,

everyone I'm the young one in this forum. I bought my 03 mazda P5 in the beggining of 04 and I was planning to get a Cold Air intake, change out the spark plug(stock) to Magnecor Spag wire and was wondering if that will help my lag at all? I don't really know much about P5 at all. All the people around my area that know me said that P5 not worth my time and effort but it have been my dream car for a long time so yeah. Any how I was looking in to a Catback system by Tsudo Extreme N1 instead using the Muffler I want to put on a Apexi WS muffler for my car will that also help with my lagging at all my car been lagging really bad lately so please any can help me please. Much appreciatted. Thank You for Your Time.


Well actually what the Dealer call it is not and AT it is a sport shifter....So please help me out a bits.

Lagging, we need more info than that. This maybe a technical issue. Also this is the Protege section. 2.0 yes but still the protege section. Post this in the Protege 5 section and describe the lagging that you are experiencing. (thumb)

Also as you have a 2003, do a search on VCTS and recall as you may be part of that.

intake and full exhaust will help you out alittle but you will get bored really fast with that so either go turbo or all-out n/a.

Don't waste your money on the sparkwire upgrade. Do a grounding kit instead.
