Carputer screen. How to mount?

Hi.
I want to install a carputer in my 02 Protege. Ive done alot of reading on various forums and I think I have a pretty good idea on the electrical aspects of setting up a carputer. I saw many pictures of people with touch screens mounted on their Proteges, yet little instruction is given on how they are physically mounted. I am planning on dedicated the entire double DIN area to a touch screen and I was wondering how exactly the screen is mounted. Are the touch screens like headunits, requiring a special mount then slid in? Right now, I'm interested in this touchscreen:

No information is specifically given on how this unit is mounted, but the prime reason for my interest in this screen is cost. I'm going to university next year, and I would like to spend as little on this project as possible. I actually have all the parts I need for a carputer, expect for the screen. If anyone has any good recommendations on touchscreens compatible with the Protege (really cheap, and ships to Canada), please share.

So before I decide on which screen to buy, could someone please explain to me how these touch screens are mounted to the dash? Your advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

It all depends on what you're going for. Most of the screens come with a little base with adhesive on the bottom so you can put it on your dash, but it doesn't look stock. For my carputer, I molded it into the dash with bondo. It takes a bunch of time and work, but it looks good.

Thanks for your reply. I also have one quick question that I forgot to ask. When you go buy a screen, how do you know it will fit the dash on the Protege perfectly? Are there some dimensions that I should be aware of? Should I aim at exactly 7 inches?

I would measure the double din hole in the protege radio bezel and see if the size screen you want would fit. I chose 7" because I knew from other forums that it would fit. http://www.mp3car.com will have a bunch of answers for you as well as pictures of other people's installs.
