Carbonfiber Autoexe Front Lip!!!

but, but, but...doesn't that cost more than the real autoexe, i thought the whole idea of a replica was to be cheaper, unless this is true carbon fiber, all the way through...?

Wow

Looks cool and all but one question! Could u paint it so to match the car or would u guys suggest leaving it cf looking. Just ideas. Full of them. Do i know the answers to them. No!
Peace,
Zane

That thing is awesome:eek:

I would not paint it. Thats the beauty of having CF. Its so pretty why would u wanna cover it up and make it heavier too? Put a CF hood to match and drop it with some choice suspension and a nice set of bronze or gunmetal JDM rims. Anyways I will stop rambling...just my 2 pennies:D

Ohhh..Uhhh..Ahhhh(sorry coming)! That CF Lip is tight! This is definitely in my future modifications list when I become un-broke.

That will look really good on a Yellow MP3 with a mild drop and some flat black or bronze wheels. Good thing is that the price isn't too scary either, it's a little cheaper than a Autoexe lip. Funny thing is that I thinks spoolin and I have the same vision when it comes to building a nice looking yellow MP3. I have a nice pic of a Yellow JDM Spoon'd ITR and that is the exact scheme I'm going for on my Yellow MP3. Like this

I'm going for the same look also. As a matter of fact, so is JAG. There is a yellow P5 pic with the autoexe lip that I posted in the other thread. Can someone who is good with photoshop take that and put a dark grey color on the hood and the autoexe lip to see what it will look like. Please!

Guess I will be the only Blue one in Arlington with that lip!:D One of a kind!

I am glad some other members on here are going for the JDM look such as apexi...who I might add has impeccable taste;)

It was starting to worry me to see so much rice flyin arround. I usually check i-club.com and I swear most of those guys on that suby board have awesome taste. Beautiful bronze or gold JDM wheels, nice hoods, Japanese-spec kits and no rice to be seen for miles. There was a guy that had a beautiful car but put altezza lights and everybody was making fun of him.............Not to say that "I" or JDM style is the best but rice has to go man, it makes us all subjected to stereotyping and laughed at by the domestic boys. Really there are some ridiculous things out there like mufflers with led lights?! and blingin chrome with neon..........WTF:mad:

You can usually see a ricer comming from a mile away, not only by there tacky car but there cocky additudes. Maybe its just there age, because most of the ricers down here tend to be really young and cocky as hell. And the funny thing is that these people have identity crisis. They swear they are not ricey and make fun of all the other cars that are more ricey then theres.

Yeah, that lip is a bit expensive, I want a cheap fibreglass replica!

JDM is ok, but sometimes that gets a bit bland. Go anywhere else in the world, and their stock cars are what North Americans think are the best modified cars :) That's sad! Personally, I like the Japanese drifter looks. The ones with all those stickers over their windshield on the passenger side, 15x8 mesh rims (oh, SSR Reverse Mesh *drool*), so low it's touching the ground, and massive camber in the front to fit the tires :) I like what the Japanese do to their cute little cars with the massive bodykits, underbody neons, huge rims, and massive audio/video systems. I can accept an all-show car if they dont' race them! I just don't like the ricers that put that stuff on a car and then think they're driving a Ferarri.

I have to definatly agree with you on this one!;)

Any comment on how a CF lip would handle steep driveways and such? The occasional scrape with polyurethane (or is it just urethane?) is OK, plastic cracks, but how does CF handle it?

Carbon Fiber should hold up a lot better when it comes to handling hits & scrapes. Urethane is a great flexable material, but carbon fiber (when produced properly) can with stand a lot more stress than urethane.

Just to update you guys I scraped my lip today real bad, and the Cf held up good, as a matter of fact a little wax took the scrape of the bottom. If you guys want to see more pics of the CF lip just go to the P5 section and check my post.

im just wondering about Carbon Fiber Front Air Dam for Mazda Protg from " dgmotorsports.com "
well it fit on a 2001 protege bumpers or is it only for mp3/mp5 bumpers
