Hey guys, just wondering if anyone installed a Carbon Fiber trunk on a sedan? If so, post some pics and how was the fitment on it? How hard was it to line it up and most important How does it look? Might buy one next year but I want to see if anyone else has one.

Let me know!

Thanks,
Matt

If it doesn't align properly from the get go, which it probably won't, you can always bake it in the sun and sort of mend it bit by bit to make it fit well.

Yeah, if I were to actually buy one.. It would be the first time I have ever tried fitting a carbon fiber trunk, and I heard there a pain in the ass to get right

Why not cover the trunk in Carbon Film? I've pit Carbon Film on the roof ony my '08 Mazda 3s GT Hatchback.

that works as well but does not safe weight if that's what you want but if you are in the for the looks then wrap it i know my buddy had a cf hood old school cf on his civic and when it was warm it fit really nice and when it was cold it lifted a little but not much iam sure it would be a pain in the ass for sure to line up your self ask a body shop cant be that much just remove your old one to make it a bit cheaper good luck though

I have it and sell it myself. I already pulled some of my film off the roof of a persons Evo last week since he was taking his Evo to a body shop. No. I do not use 3M stuff. hate it brand.
