yes i know and it annoys me everyday. but the angle you look at it you cant really tell, and i couldnt find a REAL cf knob. that one was supposed to be REAL.

hey if i hadnt hacked up my shifter, and spent 90 bucks on a knob i would have gotten rid of it. momo sucks anyhow. the silver is wearing off and the s*** scratches easily. but who has another 90 bucks just lying around for a knob. thats why im trying to help out, ive been in the same boat.

Well I just figured that If they were molded pieces, that they had to be real you know? I thought why would they go through all the trouble if their not real? Is that not what you guys thought? I guess their fake, I dont know, somebody could email the guy and ask him huh?

On that Bene Vento stuff, can you see where the sticker was laid? or does the stick on thing wrap all the way around the piece? It looks as though for the parts I want that Bene Vento is going to be the only thing I can find. And honestly if it looks decent i dont care that its a sticker.

Unfortunately it isn't molded. It's a nice quality, however. I requested and received some samples and it is genuine CF. It's flexible and will mold to slightly curved surfaces but not anything w/a 90 degree angle. Theirs is one of the most complete kits IMO (save for lack of armrest and glove box covers but you can get those from DGM) and cover more than some other kits I've researched as well. I can post pics of the samples I got for you tomorrow, don't have my digicam w/me right now. I've heard only good things about the kit - plus they have a ginormous selection of color choices!

Judging from the BeneVento samples I received here's a basic cross-section of the CF overlay. It's pretty quality to me.

yeah thanks i'd appreciate some pics... Im just wanting to do some accenting around the dash I dont need any crazy armrest covers and all that.. I just want to do the air vents, door locks, window switch panels, and the shift plate.. things like that... Im just wondering how hard it's going to be to place these pieces.. I dont want to screw it up installing it..

Go here for instructions. I know it says instructions for wood trim but they are the same for a CF installation. Plus, there is a link there before the start of the instructions to see them with pics.
