uh... battery is dead

yeah replace the battery, or charge it. Then check your altenator. It probably wouldn't hurt to do a mild tune up either ( spark plugs, oil change, air filter change, rotate of tires and also maybe some windshield wipers.) ;)

battery cant be the problem. the battery only turns the car on (and powers stuff when the car isn't on). If it died while you were driving its most likely the alternator (howver you spell it). Charge the battery up (if you have a charger or goto autozone they'll do it for free) and hook it back up to your car. if it turns on and runs for a while then the alternator isn't juicing up the car.

how many miles do you have on your car? hmmmm..... i have a feeling its the CAMSHAFT SENSOR.

yeah, i dont think its the spark plugs. When mine went out, a ton of white smoke went everywhere. But then your right, my car wouldn't turn on and just clicked. My guess is alternator (sp?)

I'd say its an alternator. sounds like the most likely culprit.
Have you done any work to the sound or electrical system?

check the fuse for you ignition in your cabin below your obII sensor. if that fuse is out, your temp gauge will also read all the way to the "H" even when your engine is cold.

Check your battery terminal cables. My car wouldn't start and I got out and moved the negative cable and heard all the relays click. Hopped in and the car started right up. Turns out the cable was just a little loose and this was enough to keep it from starting. I haven't had a problem since and that was over a month ago.

yeah but his car was running and died on him. you can take the battery out of your car completely once its turned on. so it shouldn't be the battery cable. or the battery for that matter.
