Car out of shop

Hey guys, my car spent 2 days in the shop and now she is ready to go again.

I had my front bumper fixed (3 cracks 1 long one), new grille, fixed radiator support and headlight alignment, repainted front bumper and rear bumper. All this cost me 800 bucks.

The radiator support was in real bad shape but now its looks 100% perfect. very impressed with the quality work that was done.

Only grievance to the work is i think part of my bumper is epoxy or somehow stuck now to my headlight casing. This delays my corksport darkened headlights until i figure that out.

Also with the messed up bumper i did not realize my hood (to the driver side if your looking at it) is actually bent slightly downwrds. So in the market for stock 99-00 hood. Maybe CF if i can get the money together quickly enough.

Now i gotta just stop tailgating people!

Sounds great man. Price sounds good to me too.

As far as headlight scene, if it indeed is stuck to the bumper you should go back and ask them to fix the problem. Otherwise if you will try to pry it off on your own you will most likely lose the warranty on the bumper work (if they gave you any). Not even talking about ripping off the paint of the bumper where its stuck to the headlight.

P.S.
I've deleted the 2nd thread of yours about same subject (thumb)

thanks for delete

anyway yeah i will ask them to fix it, i dont have a warranty at all. If they charge me alot in installation i will just raise hell and scream :)

well they SUPPOSE to fix the imperfections such as this (headlight stuck to bumper because of the wet paint). They did the job.....somewhat bad in this field and now they have to fix it outta their own pocket. No other way around it. I hope you'll get this s*** sorted out with no problems.

I have to put my car in shop to get her repaired as well. I have to get my radiator shroud pulled out (got pushed in towards engine after I re-ended someone) along with my hood latch. My hood barely locks down so thats not tooo good. I also have to have my bumper and some other parts of the car repainted because the paint is coming up off the car. The guy who painted it last time didn't use a strong enough adhesive and the paint didn't bond to the body parts. Plus I want to get a part of my car that I didn't have painted before, painted. Im also going to have a new grille fixed (my Sport20 one cracked because of the accident) and painted along with having my headlamps pulled back out from out of their openings in the bumper. The accident pushed them way back and almost behind the openings. So we'll see how much I get advantage of.........

its not paint stuck to the bumper its like epoxy holding the bumper to the headlight or something i cant tell yet and its too cold to go out to put some attention to and find out.
