Car in the shop (transmission)???

WEll, maybe someone can help me diagnose the problem, since mazda is having a hard time doing it... i was driving home, and all of a sudden my clutch pedal goes limp (no pressure when pushing it in)... then it gets stiff again, but i can move through the gears without pushing in the clutch... i barely made it home, had to go 20 mph in 5th gear to get it to actually go...

any input would be tight

Sounds like a clutch problem, not transmission. Maybe a throw-out bearing seized to the input shaft or a sticking slave cylinder or something.

How long has the dealer had it?
