Car cover?

2003.5 BYM MSP
Did Mazda release a car cover that will fit a MSP? A normal Protege cover wouldn't likely have space for spoiler, so I wouldn't think it would fit. Any idea? Thanks.

In case I didn't make it clear the Covercraft I listed above is made for our car. It's not a close fit, it's an exact fit. At $151 it's also not that expensive as car covers go.

I highly recomend going with the Covercraft Evolution:

I love mine. It fits the MSP like a glove since it custom fitted for our car. The material is very thick and durable and offers some door ding protection.

I can take pics of one on my buddies MSP that I am storing if you want to see installed fitment.
A pic would be cool. Is it on a 03 or 03.5?

They seem to have two versions:

MAZDASPEED Sedan (4 Door)/Custom Fit/ Car Cover/ 2 Mirror Pockets/ Size G3
MAZDASPEED Early/Sedan (4 Door)/With Wing/Custom Fit/ Car Cover/ 2 Mirror Pockets/ Size G3

Which one?

Actually I can get you both. I'm storing his 03.5 which currently has my cover on it, and his wife's 03 with an AutoExe lip on it. The fitment is almost identical. I think the 03.5 has only a couple inches difference with the different wing and lip.

I would recomend the second one you listed:

MAZDASPEED Early/Sedan (4 Door)/With Wing/Custom Fit/ Car Cover/ 2 Mirror Pockets/ Size G3

Since it has the with wing listing. That's the one I bought. I'll go grab you some pics.

Here ya go. Not the greatest pics in the world, but they'll give you an idea of fitment of a Covercraft cover on a 03.5 MSP. It's even a yellow one. lol.

The one on the left is the 03.5 the one on the right is an 03 with AutoExe lip.

DAMN, after seeing those pics, I want one of those. My P5 car cover fits like a glove (probably a lot tighter than either of those...not that it matters), but it leaves a few things open (1/4 of the front wheels, 1/2 of the rear wheels, & the rear lip). $150 is a great price for a custom-fit cover like that. For some reason they charged me $150 for mine when I got it, but it was listed for like $92 only a few months later. I'll take pics of mine this weekend.

Yeah, I was gonna go with the P5 cover that Mazda sells. But, after I found this one for the same price range I figured I'd give it a shot. Glad I did.

If you do pick one up I think you'll be impressed with how thick and durable the fabric is, but still very breathable.
