Capacitor

I got a cheapy Singer capacitor installed today. My installer friend told me that it is a good idea to get covers for the terminals as my cap didnt come with them.
Where the hell can I find covers for them? Can I make them or is there anythign else I can use instead to prevent the 2 terminals from ever touching by a third metal object?

just an idea - shrink-wrap will insulate the terminals..

A cap is just a battery that discharges when ever the bass hits so that the alternator doesn't feel anything. It doesn't get hot, atleast not hot enough to melt anything. I personally stuck tape on mine. Just don't let one of the terminals touch ground... that could potentially be bad.

This might sound dumb... but what about an old spray-can cap, or something like it in shape? It would look a bit ghetto, but better than some other options. Just gut out that little inside part to make it more hollow. The outside of most black caps are plain and glossy, which might not look to bad if its the right diameter. Eh, just an idea.
