Can't unlock 2010 CX-9 doors when cold

For the past 2 mornings (it has been very cold at night), I have been unable to open my CX-9. When I hit the unlock button on my remote, nothing happens. If I try to use the key in the door, the lock looks like it moves, but the door remains locked. Yesterday, after the car warmed up in the driveway, I was able to open it. Haven't tried again today yet. Any ideas on what needs to be replaced?

Thanks.

It seems like the problem is internal. I don't think that the doors or the lock are actually frozen. The remote and the key don't seem to unlock the doors.

Also, when the problem happens, none of the doors unlock. I was just reading about the body control module. Could that be the problem? Would the cold weather cause the BCM to fail?
