Like the title says. It's very hard for me to pump gas into my 03.5 MSP. I can only pump a few cents at a time, anyone have any ideas. It's almost like maybe the venting or something. PLEASE HELP :-)

Check the vacuum lines for the charcoal canister, it could also be a leak in the evap system. My car did that and I found a leak in the vacuum line from the charcoal canister to the purge solenoid mounted right by the throttle body on the factory cold pipe. Repaired the line and it has been normal since.

I would suggest checking what HORNSFAN10609 said first, if that's not the case there is a "non-return" flapper inside the filler neck. not the one you push away with the gas pump nozzle but further inside. that could be seized shut.

There are 2 solenoids on the evap line. One is under the car next to the gas tank and one is connected to the charcoal canister in the engine bay. check both for proper function, check the charcoal canister and make sure it is not full of gas.

Things I have tried, I have the has nozzle almost all the way out of the filler tube. I even bypassed the canisters at the back of the car, I hooked the vent hose direct from the filler neck vent to the gas tank vent and the problem is still there. I'm wondering if its the valve in the filler neck not opening. I will have to check.
