I had and issue starting my car in park. It would sometimes start (mostly not) but if I put it in neutral it worked everytime. I bought a neutral saftey switch and put it in. During the install the shaft that the NSS goes on came out of bit but I was able to slide it back in pretty easily. Before I started I put the car in neutral. It all seemed to go back together fine however when finished I was unable to slide the shifter in Park. Furthermore, now when I start the car (in neutral) I can't put it in drive. I am away from the car right now but I can't remember if it goes into drive and doesn't engage, or if it just won't even slide into the drive position.
Hoping there's a simple answer to this, any help would be apprieciated.
