hey newf..i saw a brand new mp3 in town today..one of the salesmen was driving it...no tags and super shiney...

That MP3 you saw, did it have a plate?
You see, mine has a plate....duh....but no stickers eithier. Some one out in st. johns, has an mp3, and his and mine got the vin numbers screwed up with motor vehicle reg. Basically, he has the plate I'm supposed to have! My car is registered, but they never sent me stickers because motor vehicle had to "correct" something.
This is the fault of both Penny Mazda in St. johns, and motor vehicle. I've been driving with no stickers since Sept! My car was brought in, with one other. one went to some young girl, who didn't even have a license yet, daddy bought it for her 16th b-day. The one I have was intended for the boss of Penney Mazda. He had even taken it, drove it around ( hence why there was 400 kms on mine when I got it), and told the guys he wanted it for himself because he loved it. That night, and I mean literally that night, I just happened to come into the dealership here, different city obviously, to buy an ES or P5, and the manager here said, there's an mp3 that JUST came ino St. Johns. I said, GET IT! Sure enough, he called right then, just by chance, there was a truck picking up another p5 or es or something anyhow,so they threw the mp3 on board, and I had it the next morning.
The owner/Boss comes into work the next day (Penney Mazda St. Johns), notices his car isn't there......oppps! I got it. Too late now sucka!
Anyhow, sometime during the time he test drove it, said he wanted, I'm guessing in the afternoon, the guys had called it into the motor vehicle to register it for him. But, that night, i guess someone else was working that let the car get shipped here, obviously never knew about HIS boss wanting it.....hee hee.
I was damn lucky to get this car....guess it was meant to be.
Anyhow, if this is the same car you saw, that eventually also got screwed up somehow with my vin....I still don't know how that happened....but, I'm thinking that maybe he/she has no stickers either. Somehow, Penney MAzda gave him my reg afterwards. Both cars were sold within days of each other.
But, if the car you saw never had ANY plate on it........well, guess they got another one....pricks. I'll have to change my sig I guess.
Oh, just another funny note as how I even bought a Mazda.
MY honda dealership started treating me like crap( new owner). One thing after another just started to build up, and one day, after a check up I look at the car and it's all scratched up. The F#@$%%# ers washed it after me telling them NOT to. So I said, what's up with this? They said, dunno, it's your problem now! I said WTF!
Anyhow, MAzda is Next door to Honda. I drove on the lot immediately after, drove out in a P5
I spent 2 days, playing with P5's, and ES 2.0's....and well, bought the mp3.
The day I bought it, I drove right into honda, waved at the A$$hole boss, and laughed.
I don't get to do that everyday. Felt good. As much as I love this car....it's just a car. If a dealer treats you like crap.......it's JUST a car, go get another one. Dealers should suck up to you everytime you walk in the door. Not treat you like god until you buy the car, and then like crap from then on.
My Mazda here...well their all good people. Ironically, most of them are from the "old" Honda dealership here, even the manager.
