Can you run spacers on stock Racingharts?

Couldn't you just use some regular old washers to put on there and see how it looks? Just keep adding/taking them away to see what looks good or you like and then measure those and get the spacers based on that? Seems like something I would do but I have washers readily available to me, not sure about you guys.

not sure what's the stock wheel offset. Mine comes with 17" Rim + 42 offset with custom made 14mm spacer for front wheel, but I got fenders rolled.

I did the washer thing just to get an idea for looks. I spaced out 8mm and it wasn't much difference. The ppl I had look at it only noticed a difference because I told them which side I added the washers to. 15mm is a good minimum to use. Also, if you're car is stock ride height, the change is less noticeble cause the fenders are farther away.

k i think i understand what hubcentric vs. universal means...what is the advantage though? either way you're bolting up to the studs...is that hub support actually helping anything?

The way that our nuts/rims are designed with the angle cut at the bottom, a hubcentric wheel/spacer is not a neccessity. As long as you follow proper torque technic, the wheel will center itself with the nuts, giving you the right amount of spacing around each stud.

Some vehicle/wheel manufacturers (VW/Audi I think is one) use bolts to install the wheels instead of nuts. This allows movement of the wheel on the hub before everything is tightened. Those require hubcentric wheels/spacers. Ours don't but it doesn't hurt either.

Subbing... I run +45 right now and I can't imagine how ganster +35 on stock MSP rims would look. But honestly their also just not wide enough.

ok so i just did all the measuring and calculating using the stock wheels which are 17x7 +55 correct?

to sit completely flush (very similar to my stance) you will need to run a +25mm offset on a 17x7. which means you will need a 30mm spacer to sit flush.

30mm spacer is pretty big and probably hard to find. id run the 20mm spacers and be happy as it will sit JUST inside the fenders and be as flush as possible without stretching tires or running negative camber

ok do NOT buy ebay spacers..you dont want to risk your life on spacers made from recycled tin cans.. seriously, wheel spacers are something you dont go cheap on..contact http://www.wheeladapter.com/ they are an awesome place with great customer service, and very good pricing, they have been making spacers for many years and they will only sell hub centric spacers. They say, no matter what you cant rely on the lug nuts to center the wheel, the hub rings are there for a reason, to center the wheel and avoid bad vibrations that can be dangerous and also kill wheel bearings/tires. So you need to call or email them and tell them you want hub and wheel centric spacers for your MSP, they will make them any thickness you want, any kind of custom spacers..
Once you get to a certain thickness you can only get the bolt on type, so you will need to buy ARP extended studs and install them on your hubs, then get the bolt on spacers that have there own set of studs, be sure to red loctite the lugs that go on the ARP studs because its possible for them to come loose and you wont know until its to late because your wheels will be hiding it.

buy the solid kind. Don't buy the univeral kind that can fit all the sizes cuz it looks so empty and fragile.

the one that is posted are good kind man. they are made for our lug pattern, not for like 3 different lug patterns.
