Can you mix race gas and 93 octane gas?

How is it hard on o2 sensors? Just curious. I'm just wondering if you have substantial data to back this up. I run at least 10 tanks of vp 100 octane every year and my o2 sensors seem to work fine.

I used it a lot back in 03. Still have my original O2s in the car. Primary one has never thrown a cel, secondary one throws one randomly as I am catless and its most likely from that crap corn s*** in the gas these days. I think its leaded race gas that may harm them and not the unleaded stuff like Sunoco GT 100.

Its the leaded race gas that i am talking about. All leaded fuel is hard on sensors. Most race gas around here is leaded. now they do sell like 100 octane around here that is unleaded, but full blown race gas is leaded.

what's full blown race gas? 110 unleaded and leaded are both 110 octane. If it comes out of a pump it's not leaded it is illegal to sell leaded unless it's for racing purposes. Hell nascar doesn't even use unleaded anymore. You can buy 100 out of the pump at some places.

You can not buy 110 unleaded octane gas in somerset ky. thats what im saying. What is C16? thats what i guess i would call race gas. im no expert as you can tell because i have never put the s*** in my msp.

c12 or vp113 are both same octane rating but because they are unleaded they are legally allowed in your car on a public roadway. I'm sure if you go to your local speed shop they can order you a 5 gallon drum if you wanted.

Ahhhh, I see. I always heard that it made your car run alot stronger...? anyone have any feedback on that? I also heard that it leans the car out a bit.

Well back in 2004 I dyno'd on 110 octane & came out with 177whp & 189trq with a 2.5" catback & 8psi. This was done in Miami HEAT about 90+ outside... So it works!! If I find the dyno sheet I will post it up..

higher octane gas will only make more power if you're tuned for it. basically higher octane is harder to burn... so you can advance timing more, or increase boost (or both) without increasing detonation.

I'd wanna run some leaded race gas through once... just cuz it smells awesome... obviously you have to be catless to do so... but still.
