can non mazda spark plugs cause a misfire?

lol @ just as bad as the BOSCHE.. must have missed that comment. I've been running the long reach plugs ever since TheMAN posted the info on them on here, and they are GREAT.

I have a new set ready to go in when I'm turboed.. the ZFR6F-11s :)

and youre an asshole but you dont see people tellin you to stfu now do you?
ive only read bad things about long reach plugs. personally i would never use them. but hey if it floats your boat then go for it. but i do know for a fact that bosche plugs are horrible.

The 1.6 uses long reaches, as does the FS-ZE.. what bad have you heard about them specifically when used in our FS-DE?

I've had Bosch plugs for 40K (it's the 60K-rated plugs), they seem fine. But I'll try something else next time.

i had long reach plugs in my truck and that thing misfired everytime. i pulled that plug and replaced it with a normal plug and had no problems. ive just read that the long reaches might reach too far into the cylinder and cause detonation. and almost any car that i have worked on that has had long reach plugs have had a problem with firing or detonation. thats why id never use them and dont recommend them, they might be fine in our engines, but i still would never use them.

that's nice, your truck does not have an FS-DE, an engine is NOT an engine

you just proved how much of a tool you are, which is further indication that you should stop replying before making yourself look even more bad

the **** is your problem. all i ever see you doing is replying to people and showing how much of a dickhead you are. do you ever have anything decent to say to anyone? and yes i realize my truck doesnt have an fs-de would you like a cookie for figuring that one out? but ive seen problems with long reach plugs in straight 6s, hondas, toyotas, and nissans. sure they arent mazdas, but my point is that, if something ***** up in engines in many different models, why would i want to put that in my engine? and yes i also know that every engine is different, and different things work in different engines, but when theres a general concencus regarding something that goes in an engine, and that concencus is that it ***** up. im gonna take that and leave with it. call me a tool all you want, honestly i dont give a s***. but id rather keep my engine running, rather than blowin the b**** up. and also, i guarentee i know people that know twice what you do about cars and engines, and i think id take their word over yours anyday.
i dont give a s*** how much you know about mazdas or proteges or anything else, the fact that you cant give information without bitching, makes just about anything you have to say not worthy of reading. you dont own this forum, so grow the **** up and stop acting like you do.

Why would you want to put it in your engine? because it doesn't cause problems on our engines, there are LOTS of people using the long reach plugs :)

i believe it. but i just dropped a $3000 motor in my car 2 months ago. already in debt, that didnt help. so while it might not harm our engines, id rather stick with the things that ive used and know for a fact wont harm our engines, because with my luck id be the one where somethin goes wrong. like the spark plug breaks off in the hole (yea seen that one a few times).

Then go for the stock original plugs, but don't go telling other people to stay away from ze long reach plugs :)

sucks to be you with all your problems... but this engine is not the same as every other engine out there, furthermore the long reach plugs are installed from the factory on the JDM motors, which are not a lot different than ours.. it even uses the same head! why'd you think I say there's no problem installing them when it's a OEM recommended plug in japan? yes, even the JDM FS-DE uses them

the fact of the matter is, you're whining like a pansy, saying how it'll blow up our engines when you're basing your experience off OTHER engines and your "expert's" word... point being, you know NOTHING about this motor and hence why I say again you need to STFU

I forgot to say MSPs uses the long reach plugs also, just the platinum versions... OMG it's gonna blow upz0rs teh engine!!!111!!111!!1!!111

ill shut the **** up whenever i feel like shutting the **** up. and isnt the idea of a forums site to learn things? or is it just a place for you to be a dickhead? do you honestly think i give a s*** what you say to me? what are you gonna do about it? chill the **** out and stop bitching every 5 seconds about things people say. in every thread you have posted a response in, all youve done is b**** at people. so again i ask, what the hell is your problem? if you dont like anybody on this forum. then piss off, and go b**** at people on another forum.
and you think that just because you know this engine like the back of your hand that somehow makes you important? youre just another low life asshole who gets off to yelling at people on the internet. because its so intimidating. go **** yourself dude, seriously

hey hey.. take it to PMs if you want to start a fight with someone, this isn't really the place for it. Gotta at least try and keep threads informative.
